Frequently asked questions

How does Menstruacion predict my next period?

It uses the length of the cycles and periods you log. At first it uses the values you entered during setup, and as you log more cycles it learns from yours. If your cycles are irregular, we show a range of days instead of one exact date.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your phone. There's no account and we have no servers that receive your history. If you turn on backup, it's saved to your own iCloud (iPhone) or your phone's Google backup (Android).

I got a new phone. How do I get my history back?

On iPhone, turn on iCloud backup in Settings → Backup and export before you switch, then tap Restore from iCloud on the new phone. On Android, the system backup restores the app when you set up the new phone. You can also export a file from Settings → Backup and export and import it on the new phone.

Can I use Menstruacion as birth control?

No. Predictions are estimates, and no calendar app is a reliable method of contraception.

How do I cancel Premium?

Subscriptions are managed by your app store. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for.

I bought Premium but don't see it

In the app, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple or Google account you bought it with.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Backup and export → Delete all data. It erases your logs, settings and reminders on the phone, and your iCloud backup too.
